艺术家 李秀祯

画家李秀祯活跃于世界画坛的中国艺术家, 现居于澳大利亚珀斯。 李秀祯西澳东方文化艺术协会会长,西澳水彩协会理事, 受邀在西澳各地讲学展览。受家庭的影响李秀祯自幼喜爱绘画及各种手工艺术, 师从国画大家田寒、李喆学习中国画, 进修于清华大学美院学习花鸟山水画。 她在澳洲各地游学学习西方艺术, 她的动植物画是中西方艺术的完美体现, 被受追捧, 画作世界各地藏家收藏。
She draws inspiration from her surroundings, especially Kings Park Botanic Gardens in Perth, where Jane also volunteers as a guide. Jane’s botanical sketches are used by some of the guides at the Park when they give their tours.
Jane moved to Australia from Beijing with her family. She have been studying Chinese traditional art and Calligraphy in Beijing. She is a Tai Chi Master and participated in a competition in 2013 where she was ranked 6th highest in China in the forty-two style. She is a skilled interpreter and has translated a book which was subsequently published.
Jane creates beautiful watercolours and traditional Chinese art. She is also know for her sketches, pyrography, and Pastel artworks. She specializes in traditional Chinese art painted on silk and Xuan paper, a fine Chinese paper manufactured from the bark of the Elm tree. Her Gongbi artworks, often called “Chinese Fine Art”, are incredibly detailed and highly sought after.
Achievements
Jane has exhibited in many exhibitions through Western Australia. Notably WA Watercolour Society annual award exhibition Jane was awarded highly recommended in 2018, and first prize in 2019 both in the general category. In 2018 Jane shared a wildflower exhibition with a photographer sponsored by Kwinana City Council. In 2019 and 2020 Jane was invited back to have a solo wildflower exhibition to celebrate Kwinana wildflower event. In 2021 Jane was commissioned to paint Wildflower self-guided walk signs for Kwinana Wildflower reserve and invited to exhibited at Kooliney Art Centre and she is in the finalist of Rockingham Art award, Belmont Art award, Gosnell Art award. Jane has won the highly commended at Pinjarra Art award and Cossack Art Award. Jane has an artist in residence at Beverley Station Art. She held Painting birds workshops, dumpling cooking and Taichi workshops and they are well attended and her art exhibition as well. When her birds painting workshop get to be known he was invited to do workshop at International watercolour exhibition, Baldivis community Centre, Victoria Park Centre for Art and Dunsborough art society. She was invited to held a solo exhibition at Victoria Park Centre for Art and it is a great success. She Joined the International Watercolour Exhibition Fremantle and she was invited to be Part of “the 14” Exhibition with other 13 top-leading watercolourist in Moores Building Contemporary Art Gallery. He painting " Princess black Cockatoo" won the top 50 recognition Global Art Connection Watercolour Exposition France and Poland in2022.
